HOW THE TRAINING AT DIROYA WORKS

The program is conducted online, on a semester basis, in the format of academic religious education.

Each semester lasts 4 months and is structured so that students can easily complete the program.

All course materials are available in several formats, so you can study at a time that suits you and in a format you're familiar with:

— Video lectures with Russian narration
— Video lectures with Arabic narration and Russian subtitles
Audio format with Russian narration
Text format in Arabic and Russian
— The original book in Arabic

You can watch, listen, read — or combine formats.

— The lectures are based on books by renowned scholars
— The material is presented sequentially, from the basics to more complex concepts
— The focus is on understanding, not memorization

Learning isn't tied to a rigid schedule — you choose a pace that works for you within the semester.

— Suitable for busy people
— Can be combined with work, family, and everyday life
— A clear semester-based format helps you stay committed to your studies

This is a relaxed and steady learning experience, not an intensive course or a marathon.

The course includes:

  • topic quizzes
  • an exam at the end of the semester

This helps:

  • reinforce the material
  • track progress
  • ensure that knowledge has been properly absorbed

Depending on the plan you choose:

  • study chat
  • answers to questions about the program
  • mentor support
  • reminders throughout the course

You won't be left to tackle the material on your own.

By the end of the semester, you will:

  • complete a full course module
  • build a foundation of knowledge
  • be ready for the next level of study
  • take exams after each book
  • and receive certificates confirming your knowledge

WHAT ARE THE WAYS TO STUDY RELIGION?

If you decide to study religion systematically and reliably on your own,
there are really only a few ways to do so.

Option 1

Go study in Islamic countries

This is the best option, but:

  • — moving to another country
  • — monthly expenses for housing, food, and daily living
  • — separation from family and work
  • — years of your life devoted solely to studying

For most people, this path is physically and financially out of reach.

Option 2

Enroll in an Islamic university

This involves:

  • — a rigorous selection process
  • — years of waiting
  • — admission is available to only a select few
  • — knowledge of Arabic is often required in advance

Even a sincere desire does not guarantee that this path will be open.

Option 3

Try to go on your own

This involves:

  • — scattered books and lectures
  • — a lack of a coherent program
  • — doubts and mistakes
  • — no assessment of knowledge or mentorship
This is precisely why most people never actually attain systematic knowledge.

TODAY'S REALITY

All these paths are either inaccessible to most people or require significant financial investment and a complete lifestyle change.

This is precisely why many never bring themselves to begin a systematic study of their religion, putting it off indefinitely.

To date, there is no more accessible format that would allow the majority of Muslims to study their religion systematically and safely…

…THAT IS WHY WE HAVE MADE THIS PATH ACCESSIBLE AND ESTABLISHED DIROYA UNIVERSITY
